After the recent cut jobs from Atari, some ex-Eden Games developers decided to form a new gaming studio. This new gaming studio is called Blossom Minds and is founded by 10 10 ex-Eden Games developers. Although we don’t have much information yet about their plans, we do know that their first title is slated for release in 2012.
Blossom Minds aim is the original and quality content for the digital distribution market. Moreover, the company stated that it is built on strong gameplay values, graphical skills and in-house state of the art technology. They will focus on making smaller games now but with big production polish.
“We are done with AAA titles; let us bring the OOOOOOH! instead.”
Let’s hope that their ‘post-launch’ support will be better this time around!
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
