As the team notes, the game is still under development. Unfortunately, though, there is still no ETA on when it will come out. Still, Experiment 101 states that the game in its final stage of development.
BioMutant is an open-word, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG. The game will also come with a unique martial arts combat system. Thanks to this system, players will be able to mix melee, shooting and mutant ability action.
The game’s martial arts style combat system promises to allow players maximum freedom of movement and agility while mixing shooting, melee and powers from their mutations. Players will be able to recode their genetic structure to change the way they look and play.
Moreover, the game aims to let player mix and match parts to create their own unique single- or double-handed slash, crush and pierce melee weapons. Players will also have full freedom when equipping their character (not only when it comes to choosing weapons they created, but also what type of gear they wear).
