Codemasters has released the official PC system requirements for F1 23, confirming that this new F1 game will support Ray Tracing and VR on PC.
These PC system requirements are identical to those of F1 22. As such, we can safely assume that F1 23 will have the exact same Ray Tracing effects that F1 22 had. Thus, PC gamers can expect ray-traced shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion and transparent reflections. My guess is that the game will also support NVIDIA DLSS 2 tech (and perhaps DLSS 3).
From its first screenshots, F1 23 looks similar to F1 22. The game would greatly benefit from RTGI but from the looks of it, there are currently no plans to support it. And, to be honest, that’s a shame. F1 22 runs silky smooth on PC, so the addition of RTGI would significantly improve its image quality.
Anyway, Electronic Arts will release F1 23 on June 16th. Below you can also find its official PC system requirements.
