Codemasters has just announced their latest free-to-play F1 game. F1 Online: The Game will be a browser game that’s being developed at Codemasters Studios, and it allows players to create their own team, design the livery, manage sponsors and overlook research and development.
In addition, the game will also allow players to race, utilizing a top-down view. This perspective brings back some arcade memories and will hopefully be as cool as the old and classic F-1 Dream.
F1 Online: The Game will be using the Unity engine for a browser-based experience and is slated for release next year exclusively on the PC!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
