Bethesda’s Todd Howard revealed that the highly anticipated modding tools for Fallout 4 will be coming to the PC this April. As Howard said, people are already beta testing them and Bethesda wants to release them first on the PC.
As Todd Howard told GameInformer when he was asked about Fallout 4’s modding tools.
“Our goal is between the first two DLCs. It’ll go up at that time on PC. In April. All of that stuff will go up on PC. People are beta testing it. There’ll be a lag on consoles. We want to get it up on PC and have it work. It’ll probably be a good month before it hits Xbox One, and another month for PlayStation 4.”
We’ve already seen some interesting mods for Fallout 4, but we can’t wait to see what modders can achieve with proper modding tools!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
