Another week, another Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon leak. The Marketplace of Xbox.com has revealed that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is currently scheduled for a May 1st release. The game is described as an 80’s VHS vision of the future in which players will have to get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world.
The page also suggests that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be a standalone game and will not require Far Cry 3 in order to be enjoyed.
As for its story:
“The year is 2007 and you are Sargent Rex Colt, a Mark IV Cyber Commando who’s fighting against a cyborg army gone rogue. Experience every cliché of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons, mutants, and Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals) collide.”
Let’s hope that ‘Dwayne Hicks’ will be featured in a better game this time around, and that we won’t get another Aliens: Colonial Marines’ quality title.
Enjoy, and stay tuned for more!
