Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has a unique style, however we felt that something was off. Therefore, we decided to experiment with SweetFX and we came up with some really interesting results. In order to boost the game’s visuals, we used an extended version of SweetFX 1.4 that adds a new parameter called ‘TV levels’. This setting alone made the game’s outdoor environments more redish and the indoor environments more bluish.
We’ve also sharpened the visuals, and we’ve also slightly increased the lift gamma gains for midtones and highlights.
Those interested can download our SweetFX settings from here. All you have to do is unzip it inside the bin folder of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
We should note though that SweetFX is not working with the DX11 version of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Similar to the original Far Cry 3 game, SweetFX works only under DX9.
Our modded screenshots are on the left, while the vanilla ones are on the right.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
