Square Enix has announced a remastered version of Final Fantasy 8 that will be coming to the PC in 2019. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has released a brand new trailer that you can find below.
According to its description, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered marks the 20th Anniversary of its original release with a new visual refresh and brings the game’s beloved story to modern platforms.
The game will feature better graphics though don’t expect major changes. This isn’t a remake like Final Fantasy 7 so we will most likely get better textures, perhaps more polished 3D models, and hardware-accelerated effects.
Enjoy!
