Capcom has released the first update for Devil May Cry HD Collection. This patch is over 1.8GB in size and unfortunately the Japanese company did not share its release notes. As such, we are not pretty sure what this patch actually does.
According to reports, this update brings support for simplified Chinese and fixes the speed up issues that could occur when the framerate was higher than 60fps. Furthermore, it fixes numerous bugs (though we don’t have a list of these fixes).
From the looks of it, this patch does not fix the audio issues we reported back in March 2017.
We’ll be sure to update this story once we get our hands on the official release notes!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
