Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have released the first gameplay trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and announced the game’s release date. The Division 2 will be powered by the Snowdrop Engine and promises to be – visually – better than its predecessor.
As Ubisoft has already announced, the game’s development is led by Massive Entertainment and driven by close collaboration with Ubisoft Annecy, Redstorm, Reflections, Ubisoft Bucharest and Ubisoft Shanghai. The Division 2 will be based on an updated version of the Snowdrop Engine that will help the teams realize their ambitions for this title.
Contrary to the first game, this first gameplay trailer looks closer to what we’d expect from a game powered by an updated version of the Snowdrop Engine. In other words, Ubisoft has not exaggerated with the game’s visuals.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will release on March 15th.
Enjoy!
