A few days ago, we informed you about the first HD Texture Pack for the first Shenmue game. And today, we are happy to report that Drogean – the same modder responsible for that HD Texture Pack – has released the first HD Texture Pack for Shenmue 2 Remaster.
As the modder noted, this is an on-going project, meaning that more HD textures will be added in the next days, weeks or months.
Similarly to the HD Texture Pack for the first Shenmue, this mod features recreated HD textures for environments and not upscaled versions of the default textures. Moreover, it also requires Kaldaien’s Special K mod (otherwise it won’t work).
This current version of this HD Texture Pack for Shenmue 2 Remaster comes with new textures for 2 streets from Southe Carmain Qt, 1 street for Green Market Qt, room textures in Come Over Guest House and some textures for Aberdeen Pier.
