Selaco is one of the most promising first-person retro shooters. And today, we are happy to report that this FPS will hit Steam Early Access in May 2024.
Selaco is a brand new original shooter running on GZDoom, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world.
Selaco draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing traditional retro-FPS elements from QUAKE and DOOM, along with some more modern features.
The Early Access version will have 27 maps, 11 fully upgradable weapons with customizable alternate fires for increased variety, more than 10 different enemy types.
According to the team, the game will stay in Early Access for around 18 months. During that time, the team will update the Early Access Build with all of the game’s three chapters, and it will also implement additional polish, game modes, and bug fixes.
Lastly, you can go ahead and download its free demo from here.
Have fun!
