Back in February 2012, we’ve informed you about a deal between Crytek and Warhorse for an next-gen RPG. Since then, the only thing we got from this studio was an off-camera footage that was shared back in December. Thankfully, it seems that Warhorse is doing well, and unveiled today the first official screenshot from its RPG. Warhorse’s title will be powered by CryEngine 3, and this is the first shot we get to see from a next-gen title that is powered by Crytek’s engine. And yes, it does look sexy. Unfortunately we do not have any further ‘juicy’ details about it, though you can read a nice post on Warhorse’s blog. Enjoy the screenshot and stay tuned for more!
John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
