It appears that IGN has leaked the first details and screenshots for a new LEGO game, LEGO 2K Drive. LEGO 2K Drive is an open-world game with single and multiplayer that lets players build any vehicle they like.
LEGO 2K Drive will include a diverse customisation system that will allow players to build a vehicle that suits their taste with over 1,000 unique LEGO pieces. More conventional choices will be in the game too. Players can expect cars from LEGO City, Creator, Speed and Champions. Not only that, but even the McLaren Solus GT and F1 LM will be available in the game.
LEGO 2K Drive’s multiplayer will let you race these vehicles against and alongside friends, with a “robust co-op” experience. According to the leaked info, the game will have both a two-player split-screen and online multiplayer modes. In online multiplayer, you will be able to play with up to five other players.
2K Games and the LEGO Group plan to release LEGO 2K Drive on May 19th. The companies will officially reveal this new LEGO game tomorrow, March 23rd!
