It appears that the first screenshots for Daedalic’s upcoming The Lord of the Rings – Gollum have surfaced online. These screenshots showcase in-game action, so they will give you an idea of the game’s aesthetics and visuals.
The Lord of the Rings – Gollum is the first video game to be born out of the new fellowship forged between Daedalic Entertainment and Middle-earth Enterprises, with scope for more new experiences in the future.
This new title will remain true to the vision laid out in J.R.R Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. Moreover, it will explore new events and details related to Gollum’s journey. Although we don’t have enough details, we know that The Lord of the Rings – Gollum will be using Unreal Engine 4.
The Lord of the Rings – Gollum will release in 2021 on the PC and all relevant consoles. Daedalic has not revealed whether this will be a cross-gen game or not.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
