Spyro Reignited Trilogy has just been released on the PC and its first mod has surfaced online. This mod adds support for ultrawide resolutions, something that a lot of PC gamers will appreciate. Moreover, it adds a custom Field of View that players can adjusts on the fly.
All you have to do is install Flawless Widescreen, unpack the archive included in this link and copy the folders to the main Flawless Widescreen folder in Program Files. Then, you’ll have to launch Flawless Widescreen. Make sure the fix is active as it will remove the black bars and allow for FOV adjustment through the UI or hotkeys.
According to reports, there are also some issues with some animations when playing at high framerates. Fore example, Spyro may slide unnaturally on every surface. On the other hand, high framerates can also introduce some game breaking issues (like the following Druid Bug).
The only solution right now is to play the game with 60fps and V-Sync. However, if – and when – you encounter a game breaking issue, you’ll have to shortly switch back to 30fps.
Here is hoping that Iron Galaxy will release a patch to address these framerate issues!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
