The director of Football Manager, Miles Jacobson, has announced that its latest iteration, FM2021, has sold one million copies. As such, Football Manager 2021 is the quickest game in the series to reach 1 million copies.
Furthermore, over 900K gamers played Football Manager 2021 last week.
Football Manager 21 is the follow-up to Sports Interactive record-breaking FM20 which has just enjoyed a hugely successful free to own period on the Epic Games Store.
FM21 also promises to place a renewed focus on the role of the manager. The game adds more tools that allow managers to develop their personalities and prowess. Furthermore, new additions and game upgrades deliver unparalleled levels of football authenticity and extra layers of depth and drama.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
