Epic Games has announced that Fortnite now has over 20 million players. This is mainly due to the free to play Battle Royale mode that has been recently released on all platforms.

What’s really interesting here is that Epic Games has managed to double its playerbase in just a month. Back in October, the team revealed that Fortnite had passed 10 million players.
Fortnite: Battle Royale is a PvP mode for Fortnite that puts 100-players on a giant map with destructible environments. In this mode, players will combine their Fortnite building and combat skills to be the last one standing.
Those interested can download it from Epic’s Games Launcher. You can also read our first impressions of it here.
