As we’ve claimed multiple times, Forza Horizon 3 suffers from some ridiculous CPU optimization issues. In its current state, the game relies heavily on only one CPU core/thread. And thankfully, Turn 10 and Playground Games will finally address this issue.
Turn 10’s HeliosT10 has revealed that Turn 10 and Playground Games will release a new patch for Forza Horizon 3 next month. According to the developer, this patch will come with improved CPU performance, support for more wheels and additional graphical options
“We have some significant improvements for Windows 10 players coming at the same time as this new expansion (May 9). These changes include improved new support for numerous popular driving wheels, improved CPU performance, additional graphical options, and more.”
Naturally, we’ll be sure to test the train station in Surfers Paradise in order to see whether or not this new patch will finally improve overall CPU utilization.
