Here’s some interesting news for all Freedom Fighters fans out there. When a fan asked IO Interactive via Twitter whether there would be a sequel to Freedom Fighters, the company responded that they are definitely interested in a sequel, though right now there are no plans for it as the company is focused on Hitman: Absolution.
Freedom Fighters is a third person shooter in which the player navigates through the streets of New York while fighting the Soviet forces. The game also contains squad-based elements. It was developed by IO Interactive and released in 2003.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
