The Coalition and Microsoft have announced that Gears 5 will have 60hz servers and universal weapon tuning. These new features were announced during the ELEAGUE Summer Invitational tournament and I’m pretty sure that all Gears of War fans will be happy with them.
From what we’ve seen so far, Microsoft and The Coalition are doing their best to offer a solid game product. Gears 5 will not feature a Season Pass, all of the post-launch DLC maps will be available to everyone for free, there won’t be any Gear Packs.
On the other hand, the game will feature Supply Drops which cannot be purchased with real-world money, as well as micro-transactions. Players will be able to purchase Iron (the in-game currency) so they can spend it in the game’s store, and there will also be an optional purchasable that provides accelerated progression for a period of real-world time.
Microsoft has also showcased the game’s Escalation multiplayer mode so we strongly suggest taking a look at it (in case you are interested in the game’s multiplayer modes).
Gears 5 is currently scheduled for a September 10th release. As a bonus, I’ve also included below the latest official trailer that focuses on Bootcamps!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
