The Coalition has announced that the May update – which releases tomorrow – for Gears of War 4 will add official multi-GPU support. According to the team, with this patch players will be able to use multiple graphics card setups, and take full advantage of their setups.
The Coalition did not reveal whether PC gamers will be able to mix NVIDIA and AMD GPUs (a feature supported by DX12).
As the team stated:
“Our Windows 10 team have been hard at work implementing support for users who use multiple graphics card setups, and now fans can take full advantage of their setup to really push the stunning visuals of Gears of War 4.”
This May update will also come with a brand-new map, as well as a remake of the Security map from Gears of War 2.
