It appears that a remastered version of Ghostbusters is currently under development as it was rated by the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee. Now what is really interesting here is that Epic Games Korea applied for the rating, something that could perhaps indicate an upcoming Epic Games Store exclusive release.
The Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee is perhaps one of the most trustworthy sources of leaks. After all, the PC versions of Octopath Traveller, Okami HD and Sunset Overdrive were first leaked by the Korean GRB. Therefore, we are certain that a remaster version of the Ghostbusters game is currently under development.
Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a 2009 action adventure game based on the Ghostbusters media franchise that was developed by Terminal Reality and was released in 2009. This Ghostbusters game is said to be a sequel to the second Ghostbusters movie (it is often described as “what the third GB movie should have been”) and canon to the timeline of the original movies.
We don’t know whether this remaster will bring additional texture, 3D models and lighting enhancements, or whether it will be a simple remaster (aka 4K remaster for current-gen consoles) that will pack all of its DLCs.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
