And the time has finally come. Sony has just announced that God of War: Ragnarok will be officially released on PC on September 19th. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared a new PC trailer that you can find below.
According to Sony, the PC version will support NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.1 and Intel XeSS 1.3. It will also have support for ultra-wide PC monitors. However, there won’t be any support for Ray Tracing.
To celebrate this announcement, Sony shared the first PC trailer which you can find below. I also expect its Steam store page to go live in a matter of minutes or hours. Once that happens, I’ll be sure to update the article with more details.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
UPDATE:
The game’s Steam store page is now live with some new details. Jetpack Interactive will be the studio that will port God of War: Ragnarok to the PC. Regarding graphical enhancements, PC gamers can expect better reflections, lighting, and higher fidelity shadows, as well as increased geometric detail.
The PC version will also give you access to the God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla DLC for no additional cost. And, in case you’re wondering, no. Sony hasn’t shared any PC requirements yet.
It’s also worth noting that the game will require a PlayStation Network Account. So, similarly to Ghost of Tsushima and Helldivers 2, you won’t be able to get it in countries that do not officially support PSN. It sucks but we all saw it coming. At least you know about it from the get-go. It’s really a bummer as the first GoW game did not require a PSN account, and you could purchase it in the countries that do not support it. Heh, I guess some will have to sail the high seas.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
