Rockstar and Take-Two may soon announce the remasters of the first Grand Theft Auto games. Earlier today, the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has rated Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
Although this does not reveal much, we do know the name of the trilogy. And, it’s a bit uninspiring really. I mean, we’ve seen this “Definitive Edition” in the past so… yeah.
This rating also confirms the existence of this trilogy. This could explain why Take-Two has been taking down numerous GTA projects for these three classic games.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will feature the first three 3D GTA games. That means that it will have GTA 3, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City.
Again, we don’t have any additional details about this trilogy. Therefore, we don’t know whether Rockstar will implement any major graphical enhancements. These games could benefit from Ray Tracing but let’s be realistic here; these will most likely be the original version with HD textures and some QoL improvements. Or at least that’s what I’m expecting.
Stay tuned for more!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
