Two weeks ago, Rockstar claimed that the PC requirements for GTA V would be – hopefully – released before the end of 2014. Well, it’s January 2015 and there is still no word about them. Not only that, but Valve has not even set a specific release date for Rockstar’s title on Steam. As a result of these two things, a lot of gamers wondered whether GTA V PC has been – secretly – pushed back to February or even March. Thankfully, Rockstar re-assured gamers that the game is still set for a January 27th release on the PC.
As Rockstar’s “Scott E” said when a fan asked about a possible delay of GTA V PC:
“GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.”
Scott was clever enough to add that last sentence, suggesting that a delay may still occur. Still, the official word at this point is that GTA V is coming to the PC on January 27th.
There is still no word about the game’s PC requirements.
Last but not least, major online retailers (like Best Buy) have reported that the PC version of GTA V is still on scheduled for its January 27th release.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
