GTA V is one of the most highly anticipated games of this current-gen era. Yes, the PC version is still nowhere to be found, however Rockstar has officially confirmed that its latest GTA title will feature an online mode, in which players (either 20 or 32, the amount of players has not been confirmed yet) can participate to cause havoc and have fun.
This confirmation comes straight from the recently released gameplay trailer. At the end of the trailer, Rockstar included a scene in which we can clearly see a lot of players in a city. Some were walking, others were driving vehicles and then there were those who decided to showcase their jet skills.
Rockstar has also confirmed that more information about GTA V Online will be unveiled at a later date, meaning that we’ll have to wait a little bit more for some official details.
The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to see what the company has in store for us. Moreover, it will be interesting to see whether GTA V’s online mode will ‘borrow’ things from Max Payne 3 or from its rivals (Watch Dogs).
GTA V is planned for a September 17th release on PS3 and X360. A PC version – as well as a next-gen version – may come after six months (more or less).
