Good news for MP FPS tactical fans, as the Kickstarter campaign for H-Hour: World’s Elite, spiritual successor to SOCOM, has hit its goal of $200K. H-Hour: World’s Elite is a tactical, team-based, military shooter, and its first release will be a core multiplayer experience on PC & PS4 that includes no less than six maps, four new gameplay modes, and a comprehensive community-building/clan management tools.
The game is being developed by Special Operations Forces Studios (SOFs); a video game development studio led by elite Special Operations veterans and premier gaming experts. The game development is led by me, David Sears. The company is led by Tom, a 20 year retired Army veteran with 17 years of Special Operations expertise, leadership, and live-combat experience.
The team has announced some stretch goals for this new tactical shooter, and there are still 4 days left to its Kickstarter campaign.
In addition, SOFs has released a video, showcasing a WIP level that will be featured in the game, that can be viewed below.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
