Daybreak Games has announced that it will kick off H1Z1’s first-ever Free Week on December 14th. As such, the original standalone battle royale shooter will be free to download and play in full for the entire week, starting Thursday, December 14th and ending on December 21st. Additionally, during this week, H1Z1 will be on sale through Steam for 75% off.
H1Z1 is also celebrating the holidays with Wreck the Halls. Throughout the month of December, players have the chance to obtain a four-piece holiday-themed outfit across multiple in-game events. To win a piece of the ensemble, players must finish 30th or better in any holiday event match.
According to its description, H1Z1 is a fast-paced, highly competitive, battle royale shooter. Players will parachute in and search for weapons, ammo, vehicles and supplies to stay alive. As a toxic gas cloud compresses the map, players will develop their strategy and prepare for the spectacle of mayhem. Players can go solo or group with a team of two or five to be the last ones standing.
H1Z1 was released in February 2016 in Early Access and after almost two years, it remains an Early Access title. The game has Mixed reviews and Mostly Positive recent reviews on Steam!
