343 Industries’ ‘ske7ch343’ revealed that a new update for Halo 5: Forge will be released soon. According to the developer, this update will pack PC-specific fixes and improvements, and may hopefully improve mouse responsiveness.
What’s really interesting here is that this upcoming update will add the promised custom game server. This is a huge addition and should hopefully turn the Win 10 version into an essentially completely free Halo 5 Arena/Forge MP title.
As 343 Industries’ ‘ske7ch343’ wrote in Reddit:
“The upcoming update to Halo 5 will indeed span both Xbox One and Win 10. I’m told there are a number of PC-specific fixes and improvements around some of the more common crash instances and some tweaks to hopefully improve mouse responsiveness. The ‘join in progress custom games browser’ is a huge addition and should hopefully turn the Win 10 product into essentially completely free Halo 5 Arena/Forge MP (minus ‘matchmaking’). Personally I’m super excited about the Forge updates in conjunction with the game browser and hoping it really helps the PC community flourish.”
There is no ETA yet about this new update for Halo 5: Forge, however we’ll be sure to keep you posted!
