It appears that the Definitive Edition of Halo Wars will be coming to Valve’s distribution service, Steam. Gamecheat13, the man behind some really interesting Halo leaks in the past, has revealed that Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be released on Steam, and will feature Steam achievements.
In order to back up his claims, Gamecheat13 shared the following image, in which we can clearly see the game asking for a Steam connection.

Microsoft has not confirmed anything yet, therefore we strongly suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
Even if Halo Wars: Definitive Edition finds its way to Steam, it’s pretty much unclear at this point whether Halo Wars 2 will also hit Valve’s distribution service.
