Hard Reset has just been released and although AMD doesn’t have an official Crossfire profile for it, we have a workaround that will definitely please all Crossfire users out there. In order to enable it, you’ll have to download first RadeonPro from here.
After installing it, find Hard Reset’s profile and set AFR-Friendly D3D as profile and MVPU mode to Alternate Frame Rendering. And voila, Crossfire will now work and you will be able to enjoy it with higher framerates.
Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive title that transports players to a haunting, dystopian future, with humanity on the verge of extinction, confined to its last standing city and under constant threat from the robotic hordes that aim to annihilate mankind.

John is the founder and Editor in Chief at DSOGaming. He is a PC gaming fan and highly supports the modding and indie communities. Before creating DSOGaming, John worked on numerous gaming websites. While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. John has also written a higher degree thesis on the “The Evolution of PC graphics cards.”
