Ninja Theory has released the VR Edition of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Steam and GOG. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice support both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive and is available for free to all those who own or buy Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Steam or GOG.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice came out last year and was a pretty solid game on the PC. The game does not require a high-end CPU, does not suffer from mouse acceleration issues, plays wonderfully with keyboard+mouse, and looks great (though Ninja Theory was not added any option to disable Chromatic Aberration).
As we’ve already said, it’s also cool that Ninja Theory is offering this VR version of the game for free to all existing owners. We’ve seen companies releasing individual versions of their games for VR devices (both on consoles and on PC) so it’s quite refreshing witnessing a critically acclaimed game offering its VR Edition for free.
Ninja Theory has also released a 3D 360 trailer for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice VR that you can find below (you can use your mouse to interact in case you do not have a VR device)!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
