Cold Symmetry has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming Dark Souls-like game, Mortal Shell. Mortal Shell is a deep action-RPG in which you possess lost warriors, discover hidden sanctums, and face formidable foes.
According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-4590 or an AMD FX 8350 with 8GB of RAM. Cold Symmetry also lists the NVIDIA GTX 970 and the AMD Radeon R9 290 as the minimum required GPUs.
The team recommends using an Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 with 16GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 GPU. Mortal Shell will also require 40GB of free hard-disk space.
Unfortunately, Cold Symmetry did not reveal the framerate, resolution and graphics settings that these Mortal Shell PC requirements target. My guess is that the recommended specs are for gaming at 1080p/High with 60fps.
Mortal Shell will release later this year on the PC, and will be timed-exclusive on the Epic Games Store.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
