Here are the PC system requirements for Gray Zone Warfare

Well, better late than never I guess. MADFINGER Games has just released Gray Zone Warfare on Steam Early Access, and it shared its official PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.

According to the devs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8600 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or an Intel Arc A770. The game will also require 40GB of free disk space.

MADFINGER Games recommends using an Intel Core i7-9700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X with 32GB of RAM (yes, you read that right. This is one of the few games that recommends 32GB of RAM) and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 6800.

Sadly, MADFINGER Games has not shared the resolution, settings and framerate that these PC specs target. Not only that but the game has launched with Mostly Negative Reviews due to performance issues.

From what we can see, a lot of PC gamers have trouble running the game even on Low Settings. The good news is that Gray Zone Warfare at least supports NVIDIA DLSS 3 Frame Generation and AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation.

I’d also like to note that this is an Early Access game. The fact that it has optimization issues should not come as a surprise. No Rest for the Wicked was another Early Access game that had performance/optimization issues.

As we’ve said, we won’t have a PC Performance Analysis for this game while it’s in its Early Access phase. Once it leaves Early Access, we’ll be sure to benchmark it. MADFINGER Games hasn’t also provided us with a code, so we won’t be able to share our initial PC performance impressions. Still, these early Steam reviews should give you a pretty good idea of its current state. In short, it’s a performance mess.
