Bethesda has announced that all PC owners of Fallout 76 will receive the Steam version for free on April 13th. All you have to do to get your free Steam copy of Fallout 76 is go here and link your Steam account to your Bethesda.net account before 11:59pm ET, April 12.
If you have done that, you will automatically receive your Fallout 76 entitlement when the Steam version becomes available. Do note that if you do not link your Steam account to your Bethesda account, you won’t receive the game.
Also note that you will not be able to transfer your Atoms or Fallout 1st membership balance between Bethesda.net and Steam. Additionally, Atoms you earn are specific to one platform or the other. However, items you have purchased through the Atomic Shop will be available in both Bethesda.net and Steam.
Bethesda has also re-confirmed that the Wastelanders update will also release on April 14th. Wastelanders will feature human NPCs, new creatures and gear, as well as Choices and Reputation systems.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
