Yakuza 0 has just been released on the PC, however there isn’t currently any official way via which you can save manually your progress whenever you want. Thankfully, it appears there is a workaround for this, though we strongly suggest avoiding saving under extreme situations (like when fighting someone).
Saving under weird scenarios, like when you are fighting a boss, will corrupt your save file. As such, and in case you are interested in this workaround, we strongly suggest using multiple save slots and avoiding saving under bizarre situations.
In order to enable the save anywhere functionality, you’ll have to follow this guide:
- Make sure that ‘hidden files’ are showing in Windows.
- Go to Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Sega\Yakuza0.
- Open settings.ini and change SaveAnywhere=0 to SaveAnywhere=1.
- You will now be able to access a ‘save’ option in the settings menu.
Have fun!
