And the day has finally come. Frictional Games announced that the latest part in its Amnesia series is currently available on PC. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a new first-person horror game (developed by thechineseroom) that promises to drag you to the depths of greed, power and madness, and aims to bury its snout into your ribs and eat your heart.
In Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, players take the role of the wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus who awakes in his bed, wracked with fever and haunted by dreams of a dark and hellish engine.
Tortured by visions of a disastrous expedition to Mexico, broken on the failing dreams of an industrial utopia, wracked with guilt and tropical disease, he wakes into a nightmare. The house is silent, the ground beneath him shaking at the will of some infernal machine: all he knows is that his children are in grave peril, and it is up to him to save them.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is priced at 15,99€ and can be purchased from Steam or GOG.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
