Last week, Steam surpassed 34 million concurrent players. And in just a week, Valve’s digital service has managed to set a brand new record as it passed over 35 million concurrent players.
Now, let’s take a look at the Top 20 Most Played Games in the last 24 hours. What’s interesting here is that the first six games are the same as those from last week. Counter-Strike 2 leads the charts, followed by DOTA 2, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, Apex Legends, Helldivers 2 and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. GTA 5 has managed to climb to the eighth place, whereas Palworld has fallen to the ninth place. Last Epoch also lost two places, and can be now found in the tenth place.
As for the All-Time Most Played Games on Steam, they remained the same. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is in first place with 3.2 million concurrent players. In second place, we find Palworld with 2.1 million concurrent players. Counter-Strike 2 is in third place, followed by Lost Ark and DOTA 2. The last game that had one million concurrent players was Cyberpunk 2077. In the Top 10, we also find Elden Ring, New World, Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur’s Gate 3.
And that is that. It will be interesting now to see when Steam will surpass its 36 million goal. Since Steam hit 35,385 million concurrent users, we can assume that it will take a while until that number reaches 36 million. So, place your bets, everyone. Will it hit that goal by the end of the Summer or not?

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
