You know what, this is something impressive. An indie MP focused game that is a RTS/3rd person hybrid, has a release date, comes out in almost two weeks, supports over 1,000 units on the battlefield at once and will be mod friendly. Oh, and that is developed by one person. Read that again everyone. It’s developed by a single person. Just wow. You can find below some details, as well as a video interview for it. Gettysburg: Armored Warfare will hit Steam on March 27th, so keep an eye on it.
Gettysburg: Armored Warfare will support 64 players, has 14 types of units, features over 1,000 units on the battlefield at once, comes with an integrated World Editor for custom map creation and sports a toolset for creating and sharing mods via Steam Workshop.
Gettysburg: Armored Warfare has a similar story to another indie game, Darkest of Days. As in Darkest of Days, guys come back from the future and try to change the history and outcome of the Civil War. Naturally, they bring with them some weapons that weren’t meant to be present at the time of the Civil War.
This is a really interesting concept, so bookmark its Steam page!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
