Okay indie fans, time for some special news for you today. Suspicious Developments has released its indie stealth puzzle title, Gunpoint, on Steam. On the other hand, our reader ‘Harris Iqbal’ has informed us about a 2D mythos side-scroller that is being created by a single person and is called Leviathan.
Gunpoint is a stealth puzzle game that lets you rewire its levels to trick people. You play a freelance spy who takes jobs from his clients to break into high security buildings and steal sensitive data. To get past security, you’ll need to make creative use of your main gadget: the Crosslink.
The game is currently priced at 9,99€ but comes with a 10% discount until June 10th, and can be purchased from here.
Leviathan is a “2D mythos side-scroller” set in a crumbling world that favors atmosphere, exploration, and a deeper, richer world, and has a classic 2D ‘spritish’ look to it. You play as The Firekeeper, an old lighthouse watchman. Equipped with only a harpoon, you will face off against monsters, abominations, demi-gods and the greatest of consciousness.
This game was nominated for Best Visual Art 2012 by Norwegian Game Awards, and there is a demo for you try. We should note that the demo is the first prototype/demo of Leviathan, and it was made in just three days.
Enjoy!
