Warner Bros and Turbine announced, together with Electronic Sports League (ESL), the launch date of the Closed Beta Series for Infinite Crisis, the all-new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game set in DC Comics’ legendary Multiverse in development by Turbine, the studio behind free-to-play online games such as The Lord of The Rings Online.
Starting from Sunday 10th November, the Closed Beta Series will run for the next three months with a cup every Sunday, where the top eight participating teams will receive points and €200 being awarded to the winner.
The monthly final will take place at the end of each month and will be comprised of the eight teams who gathered the most points during the weekly cups. These teams will then compete for a total prize fund of €500, which will be split between the top two.
Featuring the deepest roster of DC heroes and villains ever assembled, Infinite Crisis puts players in control of twisted incarnations of their favourite characters from throughout the Multiverse such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman, playing in league with such well-known characters such as Green Lantern and The Flash.
This new free-to-play MOBA is scheduled for release in 2014 for the PC.
Enjoy!
