Intel has just released a new driver for its Arc GPUs. According to the blue team, the Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5194/31.0.101.5252 adds official support for Helldivers 2, Skull & Bones, and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
Going into more details, this driver will improve performance by up to 4% at 1080p with Very High settings in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Arc owners can also expect a performance boost of 5% at 1080p with Epic settings in Palworld. Not only that but the blue team claims that Snowrunner can now run up to 71% faster at 1080p with Ultra settings.
The Intel Graphics Driver 31.0.101.5194/31.0.101.5252 also improves performance in Starfield and Ghostrunner 2. Moreover, it will attempt to resolve some color corruption issues in Arcade Paradise.
Now while this driver brings support for Helldivers 2, there are still a few problems with it. If you have a specific type of display panel, Intel says Helldivers 2 might crash when you try to open the game options. Palworld might also crash after playing for a long time, so be careful. And if you’re excited about Starfield, it might sometimes crash when you’re just trying to start the game. Keep these things in mind.
Do note that the aforementioned issues also happened in previous Intel Arc drivers. So, you won’t be able to use an older driver to resolve them. You’ll have to wait for a new driver.
You can go ahead and download these new drivers from this link. Below you can also find their complete changelog.
