Intel has announced that it will officially unveil the 8th Generation Intel Core processor family, on Facebook Live, on August 21st. During this livestream, users will hear directly from Gregory Bryant, senior vice president of the Client Computing Group at Intel, and others about the details on the latest processor family and what it can help them do.
As the press release reads, the 8th Gen Intel Core processor family will offer faster performance than its predecessor. Moreover, users will get a sneak peek at some of the system designs based on 8th generation Intel Core processors, and will see the power of these new CPUs come to life in the hands of a VR creator and imaging technologist.
From what we know so far, Intel will be offering new Core i7, i5 and i3 models. All of these models will feature more cores than their predecessors, and they will require new motherboards, despite the fact that they will be using the LBA1151 socket.
