A few hours ago, Turn 10 released a new performance PC patch for Forza Horizon 3. As you may have guessed, we immediately tested the Surfers Paradise area; an area that suffered from major optimization issues. And we are happy to report that the game can now run with a stable 60fps experience even in that area.
As we can see below, the game now maxed out all of our six CPU cores. It may took Turn 10 almost eight months to fix the game’s performance issues, however It’s pretty amazing witnessing Forza Horizon 3 using all of the available CPU cores/threads.
As a result of those CPU optimizations, our GTX980Ti was used at 98% during our test session.
Forza Horizon 3 now performs incredibly well on the PC platform, and we can now highly recommend this game to all racing fans.
Below you can find some screenshots, showcasing the game running with more than 60fps on Ultra settings (our minimum framerate was 64fps during our test session).

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
