Annapurna Interactive has announced that Journey will be finally coming out on the PC on June 6th. As we’ve already reported, this Playstation-exclusive title will be releasing exclusively on the Epic Games Store (and right now there are no plans for bringing it to other digital stores).
In Journey, players will explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as you soar above ruins and glide across sands to discover its secrets. PC gamers will be able to play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together, featuring stunning visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score.
Journey has been rated “7” and unfortunately the publisher has not revealed the PC system requirements for it. We also don’t know whether the game will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. While there haven’t been a lot of games using Denuvo on the Epic Games Store, we’ve discovered that the demo for Heavy Rain – another game that was exclusive to Sony’s console – uses it.
Given the fact that this is a PS3 title, we expect it to run smoothly on a variety of PC configurations. Still, and similarly to Heavy Rain, we’ll be sure to share some 4K screenshots from it (once it releases) as well as our 4K performance impressions.

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
