663 Games has announced a new narrative-driven detective puzzle game, called Kill The Shadow. Developed by Shadowlight Sanctuary, Kill The Shadow takes place in the alternate post-war divided Dark Water City, where you will take on the role of Detective Ah’Guang.
In this game, players will be able to use their eloquence, intelligence, the ability to rewind time (or even violence) to investigate and deduce a series of bizarre murders in different areas of the Dark Water City.
You’ll investigate the missing Master Ruan at the temple fair, the sudden death of Wangcai, the grudges at the Shipwreck, and the dismembered limbs in the sewers. Moreover, you’ll find the lost memories of the city and piece together the truth of the city’s division from ten years ago.
The devs claim that players will freely choose to enhance their abilities. So, you’ll be able to level up your strength, spirit, and charm. You’ll also be able to select your own methods to investigate cases.
To celebrate this announcement, the publisher shared the following trailer. Not only that but you can download a PC demo from its Steam store page.
Although there isn’t any exact ETA on when it will come out, Kill The Shadow will hit the PC later this year.
