Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been delayed until next year. Originally, the game was targeting a 2024 release date. However, as the devs stated a few minutes ago, KC:D 2 will now come out on February 11th, 2025.
The developers will reveal a 20-minute gameplay video at Gamescom 2024. My guess is that the video will offer a sneak peek at one of the main quests. And, since it might feature raw gameplay footage, it should be a cool and exciting preview. So, we can’t wait to see it.
In KC:D2, players will assume the role of Henry of Skalitz who is caught in a gripping tale of revenge, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey, ‘from a humble blacksmith’s forge to the court of Kings’, as he searches for purpose in this beautiful but brutal medieval world. The game is set amid the chaos of a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia.
Although Warhorse has not yet shared the game’s PC requirements, Daniel Vavra claimed that the NVIDIA RTX 4080 Super can run Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with 60fps at 4K/Very High Settings. So, this should give us a small idea of how the game runs on a high-end PC system.
We also know that it will support both NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR at launch. Moreover, the game will be powered by CRYENGINE. So, I’m curious to see it in action.
Stay tuned for more!
Hear ye! The official release date for #KCD2 is 11 February 2025.
It’s a long wait, but we have a lot to show you between now and release, starting with:
