Okay, I’m a bit ashamed for letting this video slip under my radar. Spotted by our reader Thomas, the following video showcases how optimized Blueside’s RTS and RPG hybrid, Kingdom Under Fire II, will actually be. According to the development team, the game will be fully playable on low-spec PC systems. In fact, an E8400 with an Nvidia 7600 series card will be able to run it – though not on high settings. Still, it’s great to see developers optimizing their games. Kingdom Under Fire II is currently planned for a June 2013 release. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
