Here is some good news for all PC gamers that were looking forward to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, as 38 Studios is already working on fixing the camera controls that were so annoying in the game’s demo. And that’s precisely why we should be getting early demos, as developers can pin-point most of their games’ issues and fix them before releasing it, or with a quick hotfix, thus providing a better gaming experience to their fans.
According to the game’s Lead Combat Designer, Joe Quadara, the game will feature a combination of distance adjust, camera lag adjust, and the ability to disable auto follow that will most probable address 95% of the camera feedback that was provided to the team.
Joe has also revealed that there is still work to be done, as he needs to get ‘some better tuning in, and get some assistance in fixing a bug where the camera pops when camera lag is reduced‘.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, will launch in Europe on February 10, 2012 and in North America on February 7, 2012.
